Making A Difference

Equality and Diversity

The Equality Act places a legislative responsibility on all service providers to offer equal services to all visitors to outdoor historic and cultural opportunities. Enabling everyone to visit and enjoy our heritage has economic, health and well-being benefits, as well as demonstrating a positive approach to social inclusion.

Considering the diversity of needs and being imaginative to meet the needs of people with a mix of backgrounds and experience is a challenge, but an essential one to deal with.

Meeting the spirit of the Equality Act, building confidence with new users and aspiring to exemplar services for all, benefits everyone.
